That feeling

It seems that the impossibility to explain certain feelings through words has been accepted as inadequate. But still we continually feel the need in trying to express that special feeling to others, and this is my attempt....

After pondering this concept I came to the conclusion that the only way to properly explain a foreign feeling to someone is to relate that feeling to another similar action or event that could generates closeness to your specific sensory tingles...
I must first start off by saying that one must have experienced a dream in which they have controlled flight without any sort of machine or adaptation to their body. flying must strictly be from inside, and those who have had a dream similar to this can explain, that it is out of this world, and that you wake up feeling like you could pull of a smile that would end poverty. The only problem with dreaming, and this feeling, is that it’s uncontrollable and if you’re like anything like me, in my seemingly long 2o years I’ve been alive my selfish mind has only allowed one such dream. So while I use the summer cliché and tell you I found that feeling in a physical, pliable, controllable way I hope you jump to the end of your seat and perk those ears up.
The only uncontrollable factor in this soul simulating activity is the weather. The weather must be sunny and hot. Grab a cut off shirt, and while you pull that ragged, used, but all so loved garment over your face also pull on an adventurous attitude. Next hop on a motorcycle, with your best friend beside you, making four wheels between the 2 of you. You must throw all worries aside and speed your way to the longest stretch of straight highway, where you must tighten up your right wrist, while periodically squeezing the left grip as not to rev to high. Once the gears have disappeared, the wind has enveloped your body working hand in hand with the searing sun to keep you warm. Look beside you to see your best friend feeling as if flying is possible. At that moment I promise that you will receive a smile that could seemingly end poverty, or certainly fix any heartache.

HONG KONG

It seems the attitude established by the residents of Hong Kong has been adapted to their unique living conditions.. people are not people, but large bags of fluid who make great obstacles in the swift walking trip from start to finish. The overcrowded walkways, and under precautious drivers understand the situation and have therefore adapted themselves to having unlimited patience to; slow walkers, cutter offers, to close walkers, and rushed walkers. The residents just make do. A foreigner though on the other hand, who knows only open fields, large over sized sidewalks, and courteous drivers quickly develops an unusual sense of selfishness among the herds of people. One must establish the "here to there" philosophy as a game with the utmost desire to win. Without this commitment to the imaginary game you will find yourself lost among the pawns. Another interesting challenge is crossing the streets of busy Hong Kong. Unlike Canadian walkways people must watch out for drivers, not the drivers watch out for pedestrians i myself almost became a splattered bug to the death machines that race up and down the busy Hong Kong streets. Now from my perspective owning a car in that city makes about as much sense as owning an elephant to get around, they are slow and far to costly. Other than the over abundance of public transit, ranging from red and green taxis to double decker buses to old rickety trams that somehow make their way through traffic on old rails, exotic and expensive high end cars glide from stop light to stop light. It seems the only people willing to waste their money on vehicles are people who don't mind wasting their money, and their time waiting in traffic. Once the game of survival among the cross walks and the mind set of being in a race sets in Hong Kong can do nothing but grow on you, it shows the beauty of nature and humans alike, and speaking of growing the sky scrapers just never seem to stop.
